When Installing the Reactor Aluminum Flexplate, you may find that the flexplate fits snugly over your crankshaft due to tolerances. Be sure to do the following ...
- Using a rubber mallet or block of wood to tap the flexplate evenly, flush upwards alongside the crankshaft flange.
- Do not draw Flexplate up against crankshaft with bolts or an impact wrench
- Use Loc-Tite and torque flexplate bolts no more than 75 lbs p/ft following the torque pattern shown below, using Flat Washers Only! If using the Reactor Inertia Ring, be sure to use Loc-Tite and torque no more then maximum 38 lbs p/ft
